Complete renovation of this large one bedroom apartment. The owners, a young couple, asked us to keep what’s possible from the old apartment and create a cosy home where they can relax. Luckily the original materials of the floor, botticino marble and oak parquet, were already very soothing thanks to their soft, sandy tones. Together with the white walls, timber, woven cane and soft, muted and textural upholstery such as linen we created a very natural mood. Adding the black touches was important to avoid a total coastal look. Colours are introduced through artwork, soft furnishings and feature walls, keeping in mind elements such as the nature and plant life.
